Visit to Lanco Hills, Hyderabad

Recently I visited Lanco Hills located at Manikonda, Hyderabad. Lanco hills is a mixed use development of property which features high rise towers with as many as 32 floors. The towers also has helipads. It offers luxury flats of 2,3,4 bed rooms and villas. As of now 8 towers are there and another 3 under construction. I was told there are 1500 flats now. This self contained community has sports facility, gym, children’s play area, Apollo medical clinic and pharmacy, grocery shop, saloon, spa, coffee shop, ATM etc.

Located around 7 km from Gachibowli, this area is developing at a rapid pace and resulting in spectacular new buildings. One has to drive a little from the main road to reach Lanco Hills. In such places in the suburb, one need to have a personal vehicle due to last mile connectivity issues. The metro rail is not available here and I am not sure if its gonna come this way. Also, public buses may be infrequent in this area.

The Lanco Hills website https://www.lancohills.com/ claims it to be a $ 1.5 billion project. But the outer wall of the towers looks like a dull office building. I am sure this can be done better when they claim top class architects and designers worked for this project.

Lets now go to the area where I enjoyed most. Its the terrace on the 32nd floor. From here I was able to see Hyderabad miles after miles without any hindrance. It was almost like a bird’s eye view. Check the pictures I have shot there using my mobile phone Redme Note 4.
